TULSA, OK -- Police are working to identify a man who was found dead on a Tulsa street overnight.

Police discovered the man's body just before midnight in the 100 block of South 122nd East Avenue.

Officers say the man died after being shot several times, but his identity is unknown. He is black, in his late 30s or early 40s, bald, 5 feet 9 inches and 175 pounds.

The man was wearing brown-tinted shades, a black baseball cap, gray T-shirt, baggy jeans, white ankle socks and black and gray Nike Shox running shoes.

Anyone with information on the identity of the victim is encouraged to dial 911 or 596-COPS.
