BROKEN ARROW, OK -- It is back to school Wednesday for students and teachers at several school districts across Green Country.

Several school districts, including Tulsa Union, Broken Arrow and Bartlesville resumed classes Wednesday.

That means many parents got up early Wednesday to get their kids off to school.

From the house to the classroom, News On 6 anchor Latoya Silmon followed one Tulsa Union family as they got ready for the first day of school.

Silmon talked with the McKillips family and met 6-year old Spencer as he headed off to first grade.

Jenks begins classes on Thursday and Tulsa Public Schools begins classes next week.
