TULSA, OK -- The BOK Center in downtown Tulsa is getting ready for Tuesday night's Britney Spears concert.

Tulsa Police are anticipating more than 9,000 fans will converge on the BOK Center Tuesday evening for "The Circus Starring Britney Spears."

The doors at the BOK Center will open at 5:30 p.m., with the concert set to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Police say because of the crowds and traffic concerns, Third Street between Denver Avenue and Frisco Avenue, 2nd Street between HeavyTraffic Way and Frisco Avenue, Frisco Avenue between 1st Street and 3rd Street and the south curb lane of 1st Street between Denver Avenue and Frisco Avenue, will be closed Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM.

In addition, Tulsa Police say Denver Avenue between 1st Street and 4th Street, and 3rd Street between Cheyenne Avenue and Houston Avenue, may be restricted to traffic before and after the event.

Tulsa Police advise motorists who are not coming to watch the concert to avoid this area of downtown Tulsa on Tuesday.
