TULSA, OK -- The Alzheimer's Association reports someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with the disease every seven seconds.
Monday is National Alzheimer's Day. Many groups spent the day trying to raise awareness and find a cure.
Representatives with the Alzheimer's Association were in downtown Tulsa to answer questions and talk about the warning signs.
"If their mood changes dramatically, if they're normally a very happy person and they turn really mean, if they're forgetting things and that, just not like forgetting where you car is, if you're forgetting something like for example if you put your iron in your refrigerator, just odd things that don't take place every day," said Tonda Ames, Alzheimer's Association.
If you have questions about Alzheimer's, you can call the association's hotline at 1-800-272-3900.
