TULSA, OK -- A hit and run driver caused a multiple car accident just before 2 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Sheridan. Witnesses say a white car driving south on Sheridan crossed the center line and hit one car which then collided with a third vehicle.

The driver of the white car sped off and abandoned the vehicle a few blocks away from the accident scene.

Tulsa firefighters used extrication tools to free the two occupants from the second vehicle. Both were transported to a local hospital with head injuries and contusions.

No arrests were made, but witnesses told police the driver of the hit and run vehicle appeared to be intoxicated.
