Construction Work To Close I-44 & Peoria Soon

TULSA, OK -- There's a major detour ahead. Starting next Monday, ODOT is closing all lanes of Peoria at the I-44 junction for about three months.

Crews are closing Peoria so they can continue work on the big dig, a more than 40-feet wide ditch that's a key piece of the I-44 widening project.

Drivers will have to use Riverside or Lewis as detours around the work zone.
