TPS October Budget Is About $600,000 Short

TULSA, OK -- In education news, tightening the budget even more is a possibility at Tulsa Public Schools.

At the TPS board retreat Thursday, members learned the district's October budget is about $600,000 short.

That brings this year's cuts to $1.3 million off the budget so far.

The board is trying to determine how much of a shortage it can handle before they have to take action.
