Tulsa Doctor Honored By The AARP

TULSA, OK -- Tulsan Dr. Gerald E. Gustafson is the 2009 recipient of the Andrus Community Service Award, the highest award given by the AARP-Oklahoma association.

In an AARP news release, Gustafson was cited for his work in getting legislation passed that resulted in the creation of the Tulsa County Medication Recycling Program.

Dr. Gustafson is an active part of the Concerns for Older Tulsans Committee and a member of the board of directors of the Community Development Fund Trust of the Tulsa County Medical Society.
