Tulsa Head-On Wreck Sends One To Hospital

TULSA, OK -- An early morning traffic accident in west Tulsa sends one person to a Tulsa hospital.

The accident happened just before 6 a.m. in the 2000 block of West Charles Page Boulevard.

Tulsa Police say a pickup truck going westbound crossed the center line and struck a jeep going in the opposite direction.

The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt. The driver of the Jeep had to be extracted from the vehicle.

That person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Charles Page Boulevard was shut down for a short time while crews cleaned up the accident.
