½ c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 c. peeled and chopped apples
Topping:
½ c. chopped pecans
½ c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. melted butter
Garnish:
Braum's Hot Caramel Topping, to taste
Whipped Cream, to taste
Chopped Pecans, to taste
Yield: 12 to 14 servings
