TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa mayor's race is down to the wire and each candidate made a last minute push Monday morning to get your vote in Tuesday's election.

Monday morning, Six in the Morning conducted an exclusive conversation with Tom Adelson, Dewey Bartlett, and Mark Perkins.

Each of the candidates answered questions from viewers submitted by e-mail and a special live chat on NewsOn6.com.

One of the questions concerned north Tulsa.  And each candidate told Six in the Morning what they would do.

"We need to get a grocery store in North Tulsa.  We need to investigate and get more retail options because the people of North Tulsa spend about $100 million a year and 70 percent of that out of their community," said Tom Adelson (D) mayoral candidate.

"What I've proposed and I have proposed in the past is that a consortium of all the grocery stores in and around Tulsa join together and be strongly persuaded and put that grocery store in," said Dewey Bartlett (R) Mayoral Candidate.

"We've focused so much time and attention in attracting one of these big national chains when what we need is not one grocery store but when everyone can get walk and get what they need and be opened in a short period of time," Mark Perkins (I) Mayoral Candidate.

At the end of the discussion, each of the candidates was given a moment to address Tulsa voters directly.

Early voting for Tulsa's election began on Friday and continues Monday until 6 p.m.  Polls on Tuesday, Election Day are open 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
