More Than 1,500 Pounds Of Food Donated To Broken Arrow Food Pantry

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Broken Arrow's food bank is getting a big boost thanks to Weight Watchers.

2009 is the second year for the Weight Watchers Lose for Good Campaign. In honor of the program, Weight Watchers in Broken Arrow held a food drive for its members. 

They collected more than 1,500 pounds of food and for some it was about more than just helping others.

“A lot of our members brought out food to represent their weight loss. We've had a lady that lost 105 pounds and she brought 105 pounds of food to donate,” said Suzanne Mobley, Weight Watchers.

All of the food will go to Broken Arrow Neighbors Food Pantry.
