ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Oklahoma State University and The University of Mississippi were selected as participants in the 74th edition of the Cotton Bowl Classic game and will play at Cowboys Stadium on January 2, 2010. The game kicks off at 1 p.m.
The first AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington will be a rematch of the 2004 Cotton Bowl between rivals Oklahoma State and Mississippi.
"We welcome the fans of both teams to our city," says Jay Burress, President & CEO of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau. "This promises to be an exciting rematch!"
In honor of the first Cotton Bowl to be played in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau is offering a chance to win an entire "Weekend of Football Getaway" at www.arlington.org/kickoff, where one winner will be selected at random to win two tickets to the game, two tickets to a Dallas Cowboys game the next day, two passes to Six Flags Over Texas, hotel, flight and rental car usage.
