TULSA, OK -- One person suffered smoke inhalation after her home caught fire Sunday morning.

Crews with the Tulsa Fire Department responded to the fire shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of East Zion Court. Firefighters say when they arrived to the scene, heavy smoke was pouring from the single-story home.

Crews say about 20 firefighters responded to the scene.

"Luckily we had resources on scene in an appropriate amount of time to put the fire out quickly," said Captain Keith Beck, Tulsa Fire Department.

The woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. She was expected to be fine.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Shortly after this fire, Tulsa firefighters responded to a vacant house fire located at Joplin Avenue and Tecumseh Street.

Crews responded to another vacant house fire Sunday evening in the 300 block of East Apache. Firefighters say someone driving by saw the fire and called 911.

Apache was closed while crews fought the fire. Firefighters say the home has extensive damage. Nobody was injured in the fire.

The fire started in the attic, according to firefighters, and the cause is under investigation.
