STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Former Oklahoma State basketball coach Sean Sutton was arrested by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Thursday in Stillwater for attempting to possess controlled dangerous substances, officials said.
Sutton remained jailed Friday morning and will also be charged with using a communication device to commit a felony, OBNDD officials said.
Sources say Sutton admitted to an addiction to pain killers and that the drugs were obtained from doctors by fraudulent means and by shipments from New York and Washington.
Sutton bonded out of jail Friday afternoon on a $10,000 bond.
