JENKS, OK -- Some Jenks students got to see the world through bugs' eyes Wednesday. It's a program called Six Legged Super Heroes.
Fifth graders at Jenks West Intermediate learned how bugs help gardens. The kids even tried on a special pair of bug goggles to see things from an insect's point of view.
"Today we were experimenting with compound eyes and sort of what it would feel like if you were a fly and how your vision would change if you were a fly," Judith Payton, a master gardener, said.
Volunteers with the OSU Extension Office teach ten different classes related to gardening. Students can learn about everything from soil and seeds to earthworms and insects.
