Lady Gaga's 'Paparazzi' Makes Edmond Sixth Grader Instant YouTube Hit

An Edmond sixth grader's rendition of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi has made him an instant YouTube sensation.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – An Edmond sixth grader's rendition of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" has made him an instant YouTube sensation.

Greyson Michael Chance's rendition of the pop star's song has had more than 8 million views on YouTube.

"I am very inspired by Lady Gaga and Augustana," he wrote on his YouTube profile page. "Lady Gaga is a freak but she has so much talent and her style of music is what I would like mine to be when I'm older."

The video was recorded during a recent school music festival at an Edmond church. Greyson attends Cheyenne Middle School in Edmond.

The video has been featured on national cable news and Greyson and his family made their way to Los Angeles where he performed on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show.

Lady Gaga is scheduled to perform at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City on July 20.
