19-Year-Old Drowns at Ft. Cobb Lake

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A 19-year-old man drowned at Ft. Cobb Lake in Caddo County Friday afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP troopers said Tanner Wayne Phillips attempted to swim across a cove, northwest of Ft. Cobb Dam when he went under water and never resurfaced.

Search crews were able to recover Phillips' body just after 7:30 Friday.
