TULSA, OKLAHOMA-- The Hard Rock Casino Tulsa's newest venue The Joint will host the musical "Rocky Horror Show" with three shows over Halloween weekend.
The new $22 million, 2,700-seat theater will rock to songs Sweet Transvestite, Damn it Janet and The Time Warp with local performer Chad Oliverson in the role of over-sexed ghoul Dr. Frank-N-Furter.
"Just the names alone - Rocky Horror, Hard Rock, two entities that were meant to be brought together," said COliverson, wearing spiked-leather garb and four-inch heels. "This is a rock musical, it's audacious, it's over the top."
Just the type of show the Hard Rock was hoping to attract, said Entertainment Director Danny Finnerty.
"State-of-the-art sound and lights, the production is amazing in there," said Finnerty. "We want every event we have in here to be a big party."
Tickets are $35, $55 and $100 and can be purchased online at hardrockcasinotulsa/thejoint or by calling 918-384-ROCK.
