TULSA, Oklahoma -- An unknown man opened fire on people coming out of the Sandy Park Apartments in west Tulsa Thursday night.

Two residents of the apartment complex located in the 6300 block of West 11th Place South left their apartment, entering the parking lot just after 11 p.m. They noticed two men sitting in a 1980s model white pickup.

One of the men fired several rounds at the residents before the truck took off out of the parking lot.

One of the residents ran after the truck hoping to get the license plate, and the man against opened fire as the truck drove away. No one was injured, though rounds did hit the residents' vehicle.

They told police they had no idea who was shooting at them or why the shots were fired.
