OKLAHOMA CITY -- Another Oklahoma City student came forward to say she was a victim of bullying, and other students recorded video of a violent attack against her.

The girl, a 10th-grader at Putnam City West High School, reported she was verbally harassed on the school bus by an older, female student. She said when she got off the bus at N.W. 36th Street and Tulsa, the bully attacked her. The girl's mother, Rebecca Jackson, saw the fight.

"My daughter was pulled by the student that did the fighting and pushed into another student, and then the student began beating her in the face with her fist," Jackson said.

Jackson stepped in and stopped the attack. She said other students captured the beating on video and put it on YouTube. The video has since been removed at Jackson's request.

Jackson filed a police report, and the attacker could be charged with assault and battery. Jackson said her daughter was afraid to ride the bus and go back to school after the attack. Putnam City West suspended the attacker from school and changed the victim's schedule.

"There are two things the family asked for after this happened," Putnam City Schools spokesperson Steve Lindley said. "They asked that her bus route be changed, and of course we did, and asked that she change a class she shared with the student and we changed her out of that class."

Both the victim and the attacker had gone through an anti-bullying program at the school.
