BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma – Court records show former Broken Arrow Public Schools Superintendent Jim Sisney has dismissed several allegations in his lawsuit against the district.

Sisney filed the lawsuit two years ago, when he was fired from his job as the head of Broken Arrow Schools. He claimed he lost his job because he discovered the Broken Arrow School district wasn't following competitive bidding laws and a vendor, Air Assurance, was getting preferential treatment.

Court records show Sisney is asking that four allegations against the district be dismissed, including defamation, constructive discharge, totrious interference with business contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Though several allegations have been dismissed, the lawsuit itself has not. Sisney is still pursuing a breach of contract claim.

The new developments come one week after Sisney dropped Air Assurance from the lawsuit.
