The stimulus project at Optima Lake came it as 24th most wasteful.

The US Army Corps of Engineers spent more than $200,000 stimulus dollars tearing down restrooms, picnic tables, shelters and closing a road there.

Coburn says it's wasteful to spend money out there. After all, the government constructed the large dam and facilities in the 60's but, no lake ever formed.
