OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- A stimulus project our Oklahoma Impact Team first told you about has made it on Senator Tom Coburn's list of the most wasteful government spending of 2010.

The stimulus project at Optima Lake came it as 24th most wasteful.

The US Army Corps of Engineers spent more than $200,000 stimulus dollars tearing down restrooms, picnic tables, shelters and closing a road there.

Coburn says it's wasteful to spend money out there. After all, the government constructed the large dam and facilities in the 60's but, no lake ever formed.
