TULSA, Oklahoma -- A News On 6 viewer got quite a surprise when he saw his stolen truck on the News On 6, involved in a police chase.

Clint, truck owner: "This is what they left for me."

Lori Fullbright, News On 6: "What is that?"

Clint, truck owner: "A jackhammer."

That was just part of the junk piled into the backseat of Clint's truck. It was like scavenger hunt digging through it and none of it belonged to him.

Clint bought his truck new in 2007 and paid cash for it. He says he babied it always. He and his son were packing it up for vacation on the day after Christmas and were just ready to pull out when Clint saw a stranger near his barn on his property out near Cleveland.

Afraid the man was armed, Clint went inside to call 911.

"I thought about getting the keys, but it was way up the driveway," he said.  "My son was in the house by himself, the front door was open so I decided to go into the house first, grabbed the phone, called 911 and as I was coming out, he was getting into my door an pulling out of the driveway."

Fast forward 16 days and Clint's brother called him to say his stolen truck was on the news in a police chase.

"Sure enough, last night, I was watching TV and saw my truck going down 41st street, going 80 to 90 miles an hour," Clint said.

He's glad Michael Wallace has been arrested and said he is the man he saw steal his truck. Wallace put 2,000 miles on the truck and they were hard ones.

Clint doesn't know if he'll drive the truck again. It really bothered him to learn drugs had been found in it, but he's glad to know what happened to it.

Deputies told him Wallace was armed that day at Clint's house, so Clint is lucky he didn't confront the stranger and all that happened was a stolen truck.
