TULSA, Oklahoma -- There are lots of fun things to do after a snowfall like northeastern Oklahoma saw Thursday. One of those is a snowball fight.

I heard of a community snowball fight scheduled for high-noon at 6th and Boston in downtown Tulsa.

Several social media sites were all atwitter with the news.

If I was going, I needed to be prepared. I heard they had something called a "snow chuck." Jesse Mitchell gave me a briefing on how it works.

I had my "snow-chuck" and I was ready for action.

I showed one curious kid how the chucker worked and he promptly showed me how it worked- by throwing the snowball back at me. His name is Max, he's five years old, and became a guerrilla snowball fighter.

There are lots of styles of when it comes to snowball fights.

One girl brought her own supply of ammo. Others were just flinging it.

"There's lots of people having fun and that's the goal," Libby Auld said.

The fight lasted a little over 30 minutes, about 40 people participated. Some found time to make snow angels.

"I'd like sometime to sled down Boston," Libby Auld said. "That would be the most fun."

The "Snow Chuck" is $10 at Sun and Ski Expo, and comes in green pink or blue.
