TULSA, Oklahoma -- Many shoppers are stocking up after days of doing without, but retailers say they've had a hard time keeping some of the basics in stock.
"Our main whole seller we get our eggs from hasn't gotten any eggs at all," Anthony Fulraro, Store Director at Reasor's, said.
The problem isn't just getting orders from the warehouse to the shelves. Borden drivers say they're having issues getting their milk off the farm.
"They've had a lot of trouble with the tankers bringing it in so we can process it and get it to where we can deliver it," Dean Robinson, Borden Rout Sales, said. "We're having a heck of a time getting it to the plant so we can deliver it."
When it is sent out, it's not moving very fast.
"Getting from point A to B is taking three, four, five times as normal, so there's plenty of supply, that's not the problem, it's just pure logistics," Mike Thornbrugh, QuikTrip spokesperson, said.
And with the big game upon us, eggs, milk, and bread aren't the only things shoppers are looking for.
"Everybody is getting ready for the super bowl and beer is flying off the shelves," Thornbrugh said.
News On 6 also checked on fuel supplies in the area and most major filling stations say they're easily keeping up with the demand.
