TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man was arrested Monday night following an investigation into a kidnapping and sexual assault of a woman working in an apartment complex office on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Tulsa Police say Billy Henry, 31, entered the office in the 3200 block of South Winston at 1:40 p.m., locked the door, pulled a knife and assaulted a woman in the office.
Police say once the assault was over, Henry rummaged through the office and grabbed cash, then put a knife to the victim's throat. Police say she fought back, causing Henry to run away.
Police say fighting back probably saved her life.
Police say Henry lives in the apartment complex. The apartment's security staff detained Henry Monday evening and Tulsa Police arrested him on complaints of kidnapping, first-degree rape and robbery with a firearm.
He was booked into the Tulsa County jail early Tuesday.
