TULSA, Oklahoma -- Take a beautiful morning to support children with major burns and other traumatic injuries at Tulsa's Fire Station No. 5, 102 E. 18th Street.

Firefighters and the Maple Ridge Neighborhood Association hosted a fundraiser Saturday morning for the Oklahoma Firefighter's Burn Camp. It's was a "donations only" event where firefighters made pancakes, gave CPR demonstrations and took kids for rides in the bucket of a fire truck.

"All proceeds go to benefit Oklahoma Firefighter's Burn Camp," said one of the organizers, Tulsa Firefighter Terry Sivadon.

"Tulsa fire has been putting on the camp for 13 years."

Also on site was the Fire Safety Trailer, an interactive mobile classroom used to educate children on what to do in the event of a fire.

The Oklahoma Firefighter's Burn Camp helps children who have suffered from major burns and other traumatic injuries experience success despite disabilities and scars.
