TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Public Schools Police Chief Gary Rudick returned to work Monday after being put on unpaid leave for sending an email calling for the criminal prosecution of an elementary school principal.

The case against Lynette Dixon has been dropped and she's back at work as well.

People upset at the district's decision to let Rudick come back held a rally at the Shiloh Baptist Church over the weekend.

Tulsa Public School Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard says Rudick has been formally reprimanded and no further action will be taken.
