Double-Digit Games Push TU Ahead of Stephen F. Austin

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Golden Hurricane moved to 5-6 Monday after inching past Stephen F. Austin in a 84-80 victory.

All five of TU’s starters shot for double-digits, including Chanice Scott’s career-high 18 points, C-USA’s Player of the Week Larrissa Williams’ 17 points, and Teka Brooks and Jermaine Jermis’ 12 points each. Taleva Mayberry shot for 11 points for the Golden Hurricane.

Stephen F. Austin’s Whitney Cormier recorded 19 points, while Courtney Conwright and Ebony Alexander both had 11 points. The Ladyjacks’ Tammara Marion and Decreasha Goodner both scored 10 points.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will travel to Memphis on Jan. 7 at 7 p.m.
