IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma and Oklahoma State rounded out the top half of the conference, at No. 4 and No.5 respectively, in the preseason Big 12 baseball poll.

The Sooners received 57 total points, while the Cowboys received 47 points in the preseason coaches’ poll.

Texas was picked as the favorite to win not only the conference title, but ranked first in all four of the major preseason polls to start the year.

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams.
