Tulsa Celebrates National Girls and Women in Sports Day Thursday

The Golden Hurricane will recognize its female athletes when it hosts SMU.

The University of Tulsa women’s basketball team concludes its three-game home stand against SMU on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. TU will celebrate the 24th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day by honoring all of its female student athletes at half time.

SMU hold a 20-10 lead in the series over Tulsa. The Mustangs currently have a three-game winning streak in the series, including a 65-53 win in Tulsa last year.

Tickets are $8 for reserved seating, $6 for general admission and $4 for youth, are buy one, get one free. The first 500 fans will receive a free Tulsa t-shirt at the game.
