Yard Dawg Impounded for Outstanding Warrant

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz’s Kevin Myers was arrested Wednesday morning for an outstanding warrant out of Lubbock, Texas.

The lineman has been serving a suspension by the Arena Football League for unrelated violations, and will remain suspended, according to team spokesperson Meaghan Roberts.

Christie Cook, general manager of the Yard Dawgz, released the following statement regarding the arrest:

“We are currently gathering information about the charges against Kevin Myers and our organization will fully cooperate in the investigation process.”

The Yard Dawgz are scheduled to host the Dallas Vigilantes June 26 at the Cox Convention Center. Kickoff is slated for 7:05 p.m.
