It is hard to take your own advice.

I have three kids in my house, and it seems like I tell one of them every day the following, "we dont always get our way."

"But dad, I want to stay up an extra hour." "But dad, I want potato chips for breakfast." "Bud dad, I want a 50" flatscreen in my bedroom"

Guess what. "We dont always get our way."

And you parents out there know what comes next...usually some sort of fit.

Well, it donned on me that Im the equivalent of a nine-year-old with this BCS versus playoff debate. I really want a playoff. I want it. I Want It! I WANT IT!!! It would be best for me. I would be thoroughly entertained.

BUT, "we dont always get our way."

We dont like to hear that any more as adults than we did as kids. But it is true. Lets face it. The BCS is our daddy. And there is nothing we can do about it.
