The railroad says the classic locomotive is touring a number of states, including Oklahoma and Arkansas.

On Saturday, June 11, 2011, the last steam locomotive built for the Union Pacific railroad will depart Van Buren, Arkansas at 8 a.m. en route to Wagoner and Claremore.

Union Pacific say it will arrive in Wagoner at 10 a.m. and depart at 10:30 a.m.

It is scheduled to arrive in Claremore at 11:10 a.m. before leaving at 11:25 a.m. for the trip north through Rogers and Nowata counties to Coffeyville, Kansas.

The steam locomotive will arrive in Coffeyville at 12:35 p.m. after following U.S. Highway 169 between Oologah and South Coffeyville.

It will stay overnight at Coffeyville and depart Sunday, June 12, 2011 for Iola, Kansas.
