Okmulgee 13-Year-Old Drowns In Lake Eufaula

LAKE EUFAULA, Oklahoma -- A 13-year-old Okmulgee boy drowned on Lake Eufaula Sunday.

The Highway Patrol says Dylan Shafer was swimming with his sister and two cousins when his sister panicked and pushed Dylan under.

Troopers say he never came back up.

The victim's body was recovered about four hours later in approximately 7 feet of water. The victim was not wearing a life vest, troopers say.
