Two Golden Hurricanes, One Golden Eagle Qualify for US Women's Amateur

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Two Golden Hurricanes and one Golden Eagle have qualified for the 2011 US Women's Amateur tournament at Rhode Island Country Club.

Wednesday, Oral Roberts golfer – and Broken Arrow graduate – Crystal Reeves finished with a 69 at Stonewolf Golf Club in St. Louis, Missouri to earn her spot in the tournament. A day earlier, Tulsa's Shu-Yin Lu turned in a 73 at Oakbrook Golf Club and Country Club in Lakewood, Wash. to lock in a spot in the tournament.

Earlier in the month, teammate Kristina Merkle finished a 70 at Waikoloa Golf Resort in Waikoloa, Hawaii to qualify for the event.

The US Women's Amateur Tournament will be played from August 8-14 in Barrington, Rhode Island.
