TULSA, Oklahoma – Australian John-Patrick Smith claimed his first singles title on Sunday in Tulsa at the USTA Men's Pro Circuit $10,000 Futures event.

The event took place at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center at the University of Tulsa.

He beat American Chris Wettengel 6-1, 6-0 to claim the title, winning his eighth match in a nine-day span.

Smith also claimed his second-straight doubles title with partner Benjamin Rogers on Friday.
