MUSTANG, Oklahoma -- The Mustang Broncos couldn't have asked for a better start against the Yukon Millers Tuesday.


Mustang's David Glidden connected on three 3-pointers in the first quarter. Mustang jumped out to an 11-0 lead and went on to defeat their 6A rivals 52-39.


Mustang led 18-3 after a steal and rim-rocking dunk by Ben Berry, but Yukon trimmed Mustang's lead to 27-21 by halftime.


Jacob Strassle scored nine of Mustang's 11 third quarter points to help the Broncos maintain their advantage. Mustang would never trailed in the game.


Glidden led all scorers with 19 points.
