TULSA, Okla. – The Midwest City Bombers earned their second consecutive state finals appearance with a 40-34 victory over Union Friday.

The two teams fought a seesaw battle from the opening tip, with neither managing to build a significant lead. The Bombers managed to take control late thanks to forced turnovers and free throws.

Cortrez Colbert led Midwest City with 14 points, and Phillip Leonard led Union with 12. The Bombers will face Edmond Memorial in the finals; Memorial defeated crosstown rival Edmond Santa Fe 42-34 Friday.
