Police Misidentify Vehicle In Tulsa Hit-And-Run

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa police say the vehicle that hit and killed a Tulsa woman last weekend was not a Dodge Durango, but more likely a GMC Jimmy.

Witnesses wrongly identified the vehicle in the deadly hit-and-run that killed Vickie Alexander, 49, in the 5000 block of North Peoria last Saturday night.

After further investigation, police believe the suspect was driving a solid black or two tone brown/black 1995-2005 GMC Jimmy. The SUV should have front end damage.

The driver is described as a black male with an afro.
