Oklahoma Soldier Plays Vital Role For 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team

AFGHANISTAN, -- A long time Oklahoma soldier in Afghanistan, Major Robert Barefoot, of the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team is the brigade logistics officer.

This is the third deployment for Major Barefoot, who has been in the National Guard for 21 years.

The National Guard says while the major sits behind desk in the logistics office, he is the soldier keeps the 45th supplied properly so the brigade can complete missions.
