UNDATED -- Dr. Phil's show is moving time slots here on Channel 6. His show will now air every weekday at 4 p.m.

He started his new season off with a bang Tuesday, airing the first of a two-part interview with Casey Anthony's parents.

I talked to Dr. Phil about what he really thought about them and this high-profile case, in an exclusive interview.

When Casey Anthony went on trial for murdering her daughter Kaylee, Casey's parents were also vilified in the media - for all kinds of wrongs including not speaking up sooner and not doing more. When Casey was acquitted, her parents received hate mail and protestors at their home, shouting "baby killer."

Since this case began three years ago, her parents haven't really told their side - until now, with Doctor Phil. He spoke to the Anthonys in a nine-hour, no limits interview.

Lori Fullbright, News On 6: "With everything that's transpired, is there any way for this family to find peace and healing again?"
Dr Phil: "I don't think so. I'm just being honest, and I'm an incurable optimist Lori, but this is a fractured family. Casey has told so many lies and left them twisting in the wind so long, it'd be very difficult to sit down and around the Thanksgiving Day table to have a normal, natural interaction and meal."

Dr. Phil says some people will feel better about the Anthony's after they hear their side, and others will feel even worse.

He says he was surprised the couple disagrees about many things in this case.

Lori Fullbright, News On 6: "What do you say to the people who say I don't want to hear from them because they are bad people?"
Dr. Phil: "I get that people are upset about the trial, I'm upset too. I'm a new grandfather, and she's about the same age as Kaylee, this is personal for me. But, you can't do that. They haven't been charged with a crime. There's no evidence they broke the law. W have to give them their chance, to see what they have to say."

The Dr. Phil episode from Tuesday afternoon will be re-broadcast on Tulsa CW at midnight. Part II airs Wednesday at 4 p.m.
