TULSA, Oklahoma -- Week 3 in the high school football season should be renamed, "Payback Friday". There are rematches of playoff games all over the schedule in the Tulsa area, including one that settled the gold ball last year.

Here is a look at the Top 5 matchups from around the state this week:

5. Lincoln Christian Bulldogs (2-0) at Holland Hall Dutch (0-3)

Last season the Bulldogs got ‘Kwame-d' when Holland Hall set do-everything back Kwame Sexton loose in Week 3. The Tulsa commit let the Dutch to a 51-19 win over the up-and-coming Lincoln Christian squad that won the 2A state crown back in 2008. The Bulldogs didn't score in the first half against the Dutch. Now Sexton is gone, and the rematch is on Holland Hall's turf. The Bulldogs have outscored their opponents 99-20 so far this season.

4. Owasso Rams (1-1) at Jenks Trojans (1-1)

These two teams don't like each other very much. The Rams feel like they are getting closer to being on the same elite level as the Trojans, while Jenks has last year's playoff matchup to prove otherwise. The Trojans scored more points in the third quarter than Owasso did all game in the 75-28 blowout in the 6A semifinals. Over the past five seasons, Jenks is 51-5. Owasso got a big game from quarterback Kason Key and receiver Keon Hatcher last week in a 41-22 win over Muskogee.

3. Coweta Tigers (1-1) at Bishop Kelley Comets (1-1)

This is another playoff matchup from a year ago. Coweta disarmed the Bishop Kelley squad that stumbled into the playoffs with a 5-5 record. The Comets have reloaded and are coming off a 35-17 loss to rival Bishop McGuinness last week. Coweta edged out a 3-0 win on the road against Sand Springs last week. The Tigers have struggled on offense to start the season. They've scored just 20 points in two games.

2. Broken Arrow Tigers (2-0) at Union Redskins (2-0)

The Tigers have already faced a daunting schedule this season and it gets tougher this week. They visit the 3-time reigning 6A champions at Union-Tuttle Stadium. Broken Arrow beat Union three years ago, but the Redskins have last season to fall back on if they need a confidence boost. The Tigers ran out to a quick lead at home but Union stormed back to win comfortably, 54-28. The Tigers are 34-14 in the past five seasons but have not had much success against the Redskins. They did, however, score over 60 points last week in Texas against Odessa Permian. Union crushed Jenks in the Backyard Bowl a week ago.

1. East Central Cardinals (2-0) at Booker T. Washington Hornets (0-2)

The top game of the week is a rematch of last year's 5A state title game. The BTW Hornets embarrassed the Cardinals with a gold ball on the line, 32-3. The Hornets and Cardinals have established themselves as two of the top teams in the state in 5A over the past few seasons. BTW has won two of the past three 5A crowns. East Central is out to take the title away from their cross-town rivals. Surprisingly, the Hornets come in winless after dropping the season opener to Carl Albert and the Week 2 game in Texas against Abilene.
