HARRIS, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating skeletal remains found earlier this week in McCurtain County near the Harris.

The OSBI says the remains were found at the edge of a corn field south of Harris near the Red River.

The remains are possibly a black male between 30 and 40 years of age.

Preliminary forensic analysis indicates a possible date of death to be 4-to-6 months ago.

The remains also show signs of arthritis.

Items found in the area include Aramark jeans size 36" x 32" and one Reebok ERS 1000 tennis shoe.

If anyone has information on a missing person who might wear such clothing and comes close to the description, please call the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
