Arrest Made In North Tulsa Arson Case

A man has been arrested for arson after Tulsa Fire investigators say a tip led them to the suspect last week.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man has been arrested for arson after Tulsa Fire investigators say a tip led them to the suspect last week.

The Tulsa Fire Department says the man was questioned Saturday about a vacant structure fire in north Tulsa and then charged the same day.

Investigators say the arrest was made after a concerned citizen contacted authorities. They are not releasing any further information on the suspect at this time.

Fire investigators have been searching for an arsonist since mid-summer in connection with several fires at vacant homes and businesses in north Tulsa.
