MUKSOGEE, Oklahoma -- Muskogee Police say they arrested one of their own on Wednesday after he threatened his fellow officers Wednesday.

In a news release, police say Muskogee Police officer A.J. Rudd was arrested on a complaint of making violent threats to the Muskogee Police Department and other agencies.

Muskogee Police Cpl. Pedro Zardeneta says Rudd, an 18-year veteran of the department, was being questioned about his job duties when he became highly agitated and started making threats.

Rudd was taken into custody by a Muskogee Police lieutenant and a Muskogee Police major.

Cpl. Zardeveta says a report has been filed with the Muskogee County District Attorney's Office concerning Rudd and the complaint.
