TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa driver landed her car in a tree in a wreck off Interstate 44 Sunday afternoon.

The wreck took place just after 4 p.m. in the 2600 block of I-44, near Lewis Avenue. Tulsa Fire Department's Rescue Task Force was called to the scene to get the car and the driver out of the tree.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers said the woman swerved to avoid an accident on I-44 and somehow ended up in the tree. Rescue crews were able to get her out safely.

One person did get arrested for gawking at the scene.
