City Of Tulsa To Auction Surplus Property Saturday

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The City of Tulsa will auction off surplus property on Saturday, November 5. Merchandise will be available for viewing starting at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the sale.

Surplus vehicles, office equipment and furniture, and some police property-room items will be on the auction block, according to a release from the City of Tulsa. All sales are "as is."

Bicycles will be sold first, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Other items will be sold starting at 10 a.m. Three auctioneers may be selling at the same time, so bidders may want to bring a partner or proxy.

Cash, Mastercards and Visa cards are accepted. Checks are accepted only with a letter of guaranty from the bank. Payment is required in full within an hour after the auction ends. Buyers must pay applicable taxes unless they have a dealer's license.

No one under age 16 will be admitted to the auction site which is at the City's surplus property facility, 108 N. Trenton. The site is two blocks north and one block west of Interstate 244 and Utica Avenue.
