More police will mean more stops on Oklahoma roads this holiday season.
Law enforcement agencies across our state are teaming up with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to make highways and roads safer this Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Drivers should expect a crackdown on speeding, seatbelt and car seat use, distracted driving, and drinking and driving.
"Thanksgiving means a lot of family and friends getting together and to so, we want to get them there safely," said Tulsa Police Officer Craig Murray.
The "More Cops, More Stops" program is only being tested in Oklahoma and Tennessee.
